Amper Melo is a multidisciplinary designer who has been working on various projects for over 10 years. His work mainly focuses on graphics, motion, branding, broadcast, film, advertising, and recently, product design.
He graduated cum laude with a degree in Multimedia Arts. Years later, he was accepted into the master’s program of the University of the Philippines - College of Fine Arts.
Amper started his career as a junior visual effects compositor at Mothership Inc., eventually transferring to ABS-CBN, the Philippines’ largest media network. He now works as an independent creative, collaborating with other creatives, brands, organizations, and companies. He is also currently a part-time faculty teaching typography and motion graphics at the CIIT College of Arts and Technology.
Outside of work, Amper is a staunch environmental, social, and mental health advocate. He loves coffee and indie music and spends much of his time playing with his adopted dog, Yuji.
